Our next Sustainability Drinks event is on Wednesday 17th of July, 6:00pm – 8:00pm.

Our guest speakers are: Dr Massimiliano (Max) Zanin and Professor Thomas Nann, a UniSA Research Team with special focus on sustainability, who want to refine and bring a new niche capability to the recycling industry.

The UniSA scientists will discuss and field questions at Adelaide Sustainability Drinks for what they called ‘Urban Mining’. The Urban Mining concept proposed by the Adelaide Team is a process of reclaiming resources from all the urban electronic waste (eWaste).

“This is a clear goal we want to achieve, to start new businesses sector, help the environment and in general, help South Australia and Australia.”

Both Dr. Max Zanin and Professor Thomas Nann will be talking about the minerals reuse and increasing the recycling value of this e-waste. This project should lead to a new way of thinking about recycling.
